Match Report - Dec 03, 2005

Final Score:
0-1
Jufri

Players:
Chai Liang, Choong Wei, Daniel, Hai Yee, Peter, Steven, Tony, YK, Dave, Chew, Johnny

The Game:
This time round the red did not have enough players. Had to borrow 3 players from the 'white' team.

We played badly in the first half. We improved slightly in the second half. But still, support were not evident in most of our game. Our passes were a bit off. With pressure mounting from the white team, we were constantly under attack. What was more disappointing was the hard fought ball was easily given away, with bad passes or poor dribbling that got intercepted.

Should play Arsenal-way, pass within 3 touches.

Jufri scored the only goal in the first half. My mistake of misjudging the long pass, ending with Jufri having one on one with Johnny. Other than that I felt satisfied getting most of the ball actions, in addition to chasing after Jufri. Can more or less understand why Daniel and Francis don't really like marking Jufri.

Our try out attack strike force of Steven and Peter was not successful. Second half switch of Chew and later with Choong Wei did not produce the goals we need. Both Steven and Daniel had a chance each at the goal, which could have change the game play had they converted.

Final score 0-1, we finally ended our unbeaten run...

Injury:
Francis still bruised knee
