Score: 4-0 (Charlie, Hai Yee, YK, Hamdan)
Players: Danial, Chai Liang, Steven, David, Francis, Daniel, Tony, Hamdan, Hai Yee, Charlie, YK
The Game: In only our second yellow-skinned outing, the SD Bananas romped to an emphatic win, sending 4 past the Great Whites. No doubt a crucial factor but the opposition were facing a depleted squad. Nonetheless, we turned in a fine performance, and nothing should be taken away from our efforts and indefatigable spirit.
With the Great Whites having only 10 players on hand, we had to settle for a 10 a-side competition. Danial deputised for Steven in goal as we made a number of changes to our usual setup. Steven took his place at right back; YK moved upfront as Tony and Hamdan drove the midfield. Charlie provided the breaks on the left as the midfield acted at times to supply the extra attacker. Understandably, Hai Yee deputised for Choong Wei in left mid, as they were taking turns to enjoy the many Sensual Encounters of the Thai Kind.
The first half was well matched as the Great Whites held their own, denying a number of opportunities by some good defending. The breakthrough came via a corner as Charlie rose well to glance a header delicately into the far post. Being a 10 a-side match, it's always going to boil down to fitness levels. With a tireless midfield and commanding defence, we overran the Great Whites after the break, to put them under constant pressure. In the end, it was just a question of turning our dominance into results...and this time, fortunately, we did.
The second goal came, when Hai Yee (looking especially lively and revitalised today) took a pass from YK coolly and drove home from the edge of the penalty box. The next goal saw Hai Yee (see what Thai massages can do for you!) returning the favour, as YK scored with a snap shot off his pass from the right. Hamdan then crowned a superb all round performance, catching Boon Huat with a precise chip out from 44 yards.
There were definitely the numerous missed opportunities to rue about but overall, it was a faultless performance - well almost. In the end, not even a poorly taken penalty could dampen the victory. All detractors are welcomed to submit their comments to fill up some of the negligible details that this post could possibly have left out...
Injuries: Scuffed penalty...but who's counting?

Well done gentlement for the convincing win!!!
So am I the jinx for the team??
BTW Krabi is a nice place for relaxing..........
Frankly, I think the White this time did not have as strong midfield as they used to. Jufri playing lone striker had little chance up there against the solid defence. Danial had an easy time this round ...
On a personal note, I was a little more confident to go up this time round because of that. Other time, I might reconsider moving up so much.
And we were attacking from left right and middle, virtually running them down.
