Match report - Apr 23, 2005

Final Score:
4-2
Hamdan 2, Alvin, Choong Wei
Yew Min, Edmond

Players:
Attendance: Chai Liang , Francis, Daniel, Steven as defenders. Midfielders/Stikers: Hai Yee, David, Hamdan, Ajis, Tony, Choong Wei, Alvin and Peter. Keeper Chai Liang

The black players: Boon Huat, Johnny, Edmond, Mike, Ah Joon, Ann Hoe, Yew Min, Han, Wilson, Malay guy and a Chinese guy.

The Game:
We had some good goals and some good missed goals. Hamdan put us in lead. Defensive error allow Yew Min to score equaliser. After that, we increased our goal lead in the second half with spectacular goal from Alvin and Choong Wei, which gave the keeper no chance. Edmond put another one in for the black with another long shot. Game ended when Hamdan scored a free gift from black keeper.

Point to note: Whenever I play keeper, the black seems to like to take advantage of my height by lobbing high ball into the goal. There is even one from Han who shot from midfield centre.

I would like our players to harrass any 'free' player outside the penalty box, to cut down such shot. Never to allow player like Edmond and Han to am an shoot. At least stand in front and block.

Also, coming Saturday game, some of you please practice high shot with me. I need some more practice on the ball judgement, at varying speed and height.

Injury:
None

Yes, CL u are right that we give too much space for the oponent. And this is when left 20 mins of the game. No doubt its because most of us do not have the stamina, and thats include me......but I think we need to give our all when playing.
